Alec Welton

Acupuncturist

Alec Welton qualified as a Five Element Acupuncturist in 1993 and is a member of the British Acupuncture Council.  Initially practising in Nuneaton and Leamington Spa, Alec moved to Market Harborough in 1997 and set up Archway House Natural Health Centre with his wife Stella. Alec now both runs his own practice and manages Archway Health & Wellbeing in partnership with Stella.

Stella Welton

Acupuncturist

Stella Welton specialises in Classical Five Element Acupuncture and is a member of the British Acupuncture Council.

She qualified from the College of Traditional Acupuncture in 1992 and has been in private practice ever since. She ran busy practices in Leamington Spa and Nuneaton before moving to Market Harborough and founding Archway House with her husband Alec.

She is a practice director and runs Archway Health & Wellbeing in partnership with Alec.

Marie Steadman

Sports Massage

Marie trained at the Shirley Price Aromatherapy College, qualifying as a therapist in 1995.

She went on to qualify in Shiatsu in 1999 and then in Sports Massage, training with the London School of Sports Massage in 2002.

Marie has further developed her expertise in bodywork by training in Structural Integration, in which she has also now become a teacher.

Neha Karsanji

McTimoney Chiropractor

Neha’s journey into chiropractic care began as a teenage patient. Alongside Ayurvedic medicine this sparked a lifelong passion for holistic healing.

After graduating from McTimoney College of Chiropractic Neha has deepened her understanding of wellness by integrating chiropractic care with Ayurvedic principles.

  • By blending the physicality of chiropractic care with the holistic balance of Ayurveda, Neha aims to offer a well-rounded path to optimal health, helping heal both the mind and body.

  • Graduated from McTimoney college of chiropractic in 2023.

  • Uses both McTimoney and diversified techniques

  • Studying ayurvedic medicine further to obtain a practitioner’s qualification

  • Member of the UCA and registered with the general chiropractic council.

Zoe Pearson

Sports Massage & Sound Healer

Zoe qualified as a sports massage therapist and fitness trainer in 1998 after completing an International Sports Therapy Diploma (ISST).

Since then she has worked in physiotherapy clinics, health clubs and at professional sporting events.

Zoe specialises in sports/remedial massage and in teaching Pilates. She joined the team at Archway at the beginning of 2011 and returned in 2017 after having a few years away starting a family.

Over many years of specialising in massage, Zoe became fascinated with Sound Therapy and Healing whilst studying Reiki, as it complimented her work ethic of healing the mind, body and soul in ways that don’t just involve ‘hands on’ treatment. After attending sound meditations/gong baths and individual healing sessions, she felt this was her pathway to continue helping others.

Zoe has completed a ‘Sound Healing with Multiple Instruments’ and ‘Sound Healing with Tuning Forks’ training through the Sound Healing Academy and is now a certified Sound Healing Practitioner, offering group sound bath classes and personally tailored 1-2-1 treatments at Archway.

Connor Salter

Chiropractor

Connor graduated with his Masters in Technology of Chiropractic from the University of Johannesburg in 2000 and has been practicing full-time for 16 years.

 

His particular interests in chiropractic are Manual Muscle Testing, trigger point therapy, orthotics fitting as well as spinal manipulative therapy (SMT).

Connor is also the author of the manual: The Art of Sitting (TAOS), providing expert ergonomics assessments and workshops to reduce back and neck pain.

He has been involved with the training of new chiropractic graduates, been a speaker at Northampton General Hospital on the profession of chiropractic and enjoys giving talks at various venues including Women’s Institute invitations. He is also looking forward to getting more involved with ergonomics in the office workplace with his health and safety qualifications.

Nicola Flinn

Psychotherapist

Nicola has worked in a clinical setting for the past eight years. Her focus has been on working with individuals suffering from anxiety and depression and couples with relational problems.

In addition her experience extends to supporting clients coping with grief and those who are battling addiction.

Lauren Young

Young Person CBT Therapist

Lauren Young is an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist working with Children and Young People.

She originally trained as a Children’s Nurse before specialising in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. She has over ten years’ experience working within the NHS across various areas including Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, Coventry and Warwickshire.

Lauren has been working within the field of Child and Adolescent Mental Health since 2013, and alongside working as a Lecturer in Child and Adolescent Mental Health at the University of Northampton, she is also undertaking research for her doctorate.
