Stella Welton

Stella has been drawn to health and wellbeing for as long as she can remember. Supporting others to feel better has always felt like her natural calling. At 16, she began assisting her mother in her clinic, and after completing her A Levels, she embarked on her own path of study and practice.

She began her professional career running clinics in Leamington Spa and Nuneaton. After relocating to Market Harborough with her husband, Alec, the seed for Archway was planted. Since then, the practice has continued to grow and flourish. Today, Archway is home to 22 practitioners and tutors, alongside a hearing clinic and a dental practice.

Stella remains deeply involved as Practice Director and continues to see clients four days a week, from Wednesday to Saturday.

A lifelong learner, Stella’s work is grounded in continuous study and curiosity. Her training includes:

• Five years of study with Master Dowser and Healer Jack Temple (1987–1992)

• Training in Traditional Five Element Acupuncture at the College of Traditional Acupuncture (1989–1992), with ongoing study and mentorship ever since

• Certification in Zero Balancing (2012–2014), with annual masterclass attendance

• Certification as a Zero Balancing Teaching Associate (2023)

• Advanced Deep Listening Skills training (2023–2024)

• Ongoing study of Primal Alexander with founder Mio Morales (since 2023)
  
  

Stella and Alec have lived and worked side by side for over 38 years and have raised two much-loved, now grown-up children.

Stella feels fortunate to do work that both inspires her and contributes meaningfully to others’ wellbeing, and she considers it a privilege to collaborate daily with the remarkable team at Archway.

Outside her professional life, Stella enjoys walking in nature, reading and listening to audiobooks and podcasts, meditating—especially loving-kindness and self-compassion practices—taking Nia classes, practising Taijiwuxigong, and spending time with Alec, their children, and close friends.
