Swedish Massage or, as known in Sweden, “classic” massage, is one of the most acquainted forms of massage.

Its primary benefit is to relax the body. This is achieved via a range of specially formulated techniques including; effleurage, petrissage, tapotement, frictions and vibrations. Each of these techniques works towards the direction of the heart to encourage blood flow.

As well as relaxation, Swedish massage also helps to increase the levels of oxygen in the blood, flushes out waste and toxins, improving the body’s circulation and movement.
