Do you have concerns about the mental health or wellbeing of a child or adolescent in your care?

Do you need someone to discuss these concerns with? Someone who will help you to formulate your thoughts and who can provide further advice and assessments if these are considered necessary.

Have you noticed a change in your child’s or teenager’s behaviour?

Do you think it would help your child or teenager to have someone neutral to listen to their concerns and to help them to communicate some of their thoughts and feelings?

Dr Diane Lewis can offer a private and confidential space for you to discuss your concerns in a reflective consultation. Dr Lewis describes her work below:

“Some examples of children and young people who I have helped through my local authority work have been children who have experienced a family break up or a close family bereavement. I have worked with children who have suffered early trauma, been in care or have been adopted. I am consulted about children who show difficulties with speech and social interaction from an early age. Where there are social, emotional and mental health issues, particularly with teenagers, I have been able to offer attachment focused family therapy approaches. For children with physical and sensory needs, I have offered support for the family while going through assessment processes.”
