Tracy Dixon-Maynard graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in 1998 with a Masters Degree in Chiropractic. She joined the team at Archway Health in 2012, very much enjoying clinical practice and treating patients of all ages, with a wide range of conditions. However, Tracy sustained an injury in 2014 that sadly left her unable to continue treating patients. Throughout her 17 years in clinical practice, Tracy always had a keen interest in workplace health and wellbeing, as so many of her patients came to see her as a result of a poorly set-up workstation. She therefore felt the obvious (and much needed!) way to continue to use her extensive knowledge of the musculoskeletal system was to set up her ergonomic and health assessment company Positura. The company is going from strength to strength, offering risk assessments for users of display screen equipment, musculoskeletal and postural health assessments, and Acumag massage, all carried out on-site.

In 2016, Archway Health, having worked with Tracy for a number of years, appointed her their Director of Workplace Health and Wellbeing, a role that is a natural fit with her company Positura.

A bit about Positura

Positura is an ergonomic and health assessment company, set-up by experienced chiropractor Tracy Dixon-Maynard, that works with individuals or entire companies to help achieve a happy, healthy and pain-free workforce.

The Health & Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992 stipulate that by law companies must carry out a DSE risk assessment for all users of display screen equipment (DSE). As well as providing these assessments to ensure compliance with regulations, Positura also specialises in preventing, diagnosing and managing work-related musculoskeletal disorders, using expertise grounded in decades of clinical experience in chiropractic.

Through their DSE, workstation, ergonomic and health assessments, Positura can help companies comply with the law and reduce their cost of lost working days, ultimately repaying their investment with increased performance and productivity.
