Michelle de Carle established the Physiotherapy services at Archway in 2017. She also works from ‘de Carle Physiotherapy’, her own practice in Blaby.

Michelle qualified from Sheffield Hallam University as a Physiotherapist in 2005, with First class Honours, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy in 2009 and in 2012 Michelle became a Master of Science in Sport Injury, Management & Therapy. She is also a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) and has gained extensive experience in her field. She is also trained in Clinical Pilates and Clinical Yoga.

Michelle has worked within the NHS, Private Hospitals, at various Private Physiotherapy Clinics within the East Midlands and with sportsmen and women of various ages and abilities. She has consulted as a Physiotherapist for the following professional organisations:

Leicester Tigers Rugby Club, Leicester City Football Club, Leicestershire County Cricket Club, GB Taekwondo, GB Volleyball, GB Weightlifting, GB Ski, GB Wheelchair Basketball, British Judo Association, Formula 3, Special Olympic Games and the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

Michelle has developed a deep personal interest in helping people to live the lives they love. This has been fuelled by her vast amount of clinical experience and her own very active life. She has reached County level in Badminton, represented England Cadets in Volleyball and has a great passion for Dance and is a member of Dance UK, supporting dancers within the UK.

Michelle’s keen interest and experience in Sport and Exercise Medicine and Movement Rehabilitation includes both adults and children.
