Learn to Relax & De-Stress

Do you feel anxious, stressed or find it hard to switch off your busy mind? If so, this short yoga course could be ideal for you. The course introduces you to the ancient practice of Yoga Nidra, which has much to offer modern life.

Yoga Nidra is very different from other types of yoga. You can wear ordinary comfortable clothes and you lie down or sit comfortably supported by a mat, blankets, bolsters, pillows and cushions.

Yoga Nidra is a form of relaxation which takes you to that blissful state just before you fall asleep. This allows your body to deeply relax.

There is no stretching or difficult poses. This is not an exercise class.  All you need to do is lie down and make no effort.

Yoga Nidra Teacher, Mary Smith, will guide you through some simple but very effective meditation techniques. All five senses will be soothed, leading you to a state of ease and well-being.

Equipment: Mats are provided but you may wish to bring your own.  Also, pillows, blankets and throws too.  Let’s get really comfortable!
