Hatha Yoga with Paul

Hatha yoga not only helps improve your body, but also helps with mindfulness and meditation. It is important to take a break from daily life in order to focus on yourself and get clarity. Yoga goes beyond physical exercise and unites the mind, body and soul in a way that eases tension, may reduce inflammation and promotes health and wellbeing. Over the course our focus will be to stay with your breath during practice whilst staying in tune with your mind and body. The ultimate aim over the course will be to introduce people to Hatha Yoga, improve your postures whilst building strength and also flexibility. The studio is heated to 28-30 degrees Celsius which is warm but not the same as the higher temperatures of Hot Hatha Yoga at 30 to 35 degrees Celsius.

The class is designed for beginners and advanced practitioners alike; no previous experience or level of fitness is necessary.

Hatha yoga is about the mind, body and soul working together in harmony. A regular practice will help your body to become stronger and more flexible, and breathing techniques will help to calm your mind. During this program Paul will focus on promoting calmness and stillness, helping you to get the most out of your practice and comfortably achieve postures beyond your expectations. Each class will have a different theme, for example Breath, Balance , Core , improving back strength and above all we will have fun and each will follow a traditional Hatha Yoga sequence.

Please arrive prepared

Make sure you have eaten 2-3 hours before class; don’t practice on a full stomach but at the same time you will need some ‘fuel’ in your system! Dress appropriately in comfortable clothing. Please bring a mat. We have lockers for you to be able to store your personal property.

School summer holidays: During the summer break we run a reduced classes schedule. If tutors book a late week away you will be refunded for that week.

Refunds policy: Our class numbers are small so we can be hands on with you. We don’t run drop in classes and we can’t run small classes unless you pay regardless of your attendance.  Therefore, you can cancel a block of classes up to 48hours before the new block begins and have a full refund.  After this period we regret we cannot offer any refunds in full or in part.
