Hatha Yoga with Paul

Hatha Yoga not only helps improve your body, but also helps with mindfulness and meditation. It is important to take a break from daily life in order to focus on yourself and get clarity. Yoga goes beyond physical exercise and unites the mind, body and soul in a way that eases tension, may reduce inflammation and promotes health and wellbeing.

The studio is heated to 28-30 degrees Celsius which is warm but not the same as the higher temperatures of Hot Hatha Yoga at 30 to 35 degrees Celsius.

Dynamic Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga is about balancing the body and mind, and these classes will typically involve a set of physical postures and breathing techniques to achieve this. The classes are dynamic, and synchronise movement and breath in a continuous flow of asanas. The aim of the class is to be energetic, creative and have lots of fun! Variations and modifications will be offered throughout the class to support students.

Hatha Yoga for Beginners

Hatha Yoga is about balancing the body and mind. With ‘ha’ representing the esoteric sun, and ‘tha’ the moon, and the practice of Hatha Yoga aiming to join or balance these two energies.
These classes will typically involve a set of physical postures and breathing techniques, practised more slowly and with more static posture holds than perhaps a Vinyasa flow or Ashtanga class. The classes synchronise movement and breath in a continuous flow of asana’s, usually beginning with Sun Salutations. Variations and modifications will be offered throughout the class to support new students to the practice.

Hatha Yoga also benefits

Hatha Yoga is about the mind, body and soul working together in harmony. A regular practice will help your body to become stronger and more flexible, and breathing techniques will help to calm your mind. During this program Paul will focus on promoting calmness and stillness, helping you to get the most out of your practice and comfortably achieve postures beyond your expectations. Each class will have a different theme, for example Breath, Balance , Core , improving back strength and above all we will have fun and each will follow a traditional Hatha Yoga sequence.
