We are delighted to be celebrating our 20th anniversary here at Archway Health Hub during 2017.

When it was first set up in 1997 by husband and wife Alec and Stella Welton, the practice was located on Coventry Road near Market Harborough town centre. It started with just three treatment rooms and Stella and Alec as the only practitioners.

What’s changed?

Twenty years later, the centre has grown to be one of the largest of its kind in the Midlands. It now has nine treatment rooms and three dedicated studio spaces with 14 practitioners offering a wide range of treatments from acupuncture to chiropractic. It is also home to the Hearing Centre which offers a variety of auditory services and to BodyFitness personal training.

Archway Health moved to the current Lubenham Hill site in 2010, continually evolving and growing over the past seven years thanks to the vision of Alec and Stella who have taken a hands-on approach to developing the practice as well as treating clients in acupuncture and zero balancing.

Alec comments: “Archway Health Hub has been a real labour of love. Back when we started we could only imagine creating the practice that we have today. We’d like to thank everyone who has helped along the way, from practitioners to clients. We are lucky to do what we love, and we’re pleased to have helped many of our clients achieve their health goals. The twenty years have flown by and we’re now looking forward to expanding our services further to appeal to even more people.”

Over the past 20 years, there have been changes in complementary medicine and Archway aims to keep up with current practice.  Alec explains: “In the past year we have introduced a number of classes including BootyBarre, a new workout that embraces elements from Pilates, yoga and ballet. It’s important for us to be aware of what’s popular and work out how we can introduce them in our practice.  Our range of services mean that we have something for everybody looking to maintain or improve their wellbeing.”
