Since my little boy has been having treatment he is calmer, no longer wakes up at night agitated, and is completely off his hyperactivity medication. I am so pleased

Most people can appreciate that the health of our body’s cardiovascular system (heart, arteries & viens) and respiratory system (lungs) have a significant influence upon their overall health. So too does the craniosacral system. A system which is made up of the bones of the skull, face and mouth (the cranium) and the spinal column. An imbalance in this system can adversely affect the brain and spinal cord which can result in sensory, motor and intellectual dysfunction.
Cranio-Sacral therapy techniques actually date back over 100 years, but gained popularity in the 1970’s when the theories of the original practitioners were backed up by scientific research. In fact, it is the scientific advances in the last few decades which have resulted in an understanding of why the technique is so effective. By gently laying hands onto areas around the head and then applying gentle pressure, this therapy can reduce physical aches, help treat acute and chronic disease, emotional or psychological disturbances and create a great sense of well being. It is particularly good for inducing deep relaxation.
CranioSacral therapy is so gentle that it is successfully used on babies as well as the elderly to promote a greater sense of well being.
